Uttarakhand : CM Dhami participated in the program organized by BRO, Dhami said – I have full faith in the employees of BRO
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program organized at the headquarters of BRO’s Diamond Project located in Tanakpur, on Saturday. On this occasion, he met the brave soldiers and officers working under the project to know their well being. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that BRO has been making important contribution like Mission Karma Yogi in the work of national construction. BRO employees are always ahead in the construction of roads and roads made in difficult conditions. He said that the ongoing road construction works in Milam, Johar, Darma and Beas valley are very important for the state as well as the country. With the completion of these roads, there is a change in the lifestyle of the people living there. The state government has resolved that all the major and mythological temples falling in the Kumaon region will be renovated, for which there is a plan to make the ancient temples of Kumaun grand under the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission, the routes connecting these temples have been expanded. Along with this, they will be widened.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Prime Minister told the holy land of Kedarnath Dham that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. The results of which are now visible, this time more than 40 lakh registered devotees have traveled so far in the Char Dham Yatra. With the blessings of Maa Ganga and Baba Kedar, the journey is going smoothly and safely. During the Kavad Yatra, about 4 crore Kavadia Shiva devotees came to Uttarakhand. For the first time, the state government made a budget provision for the Kavad Yatra. He said that to promote tourism, the government is working to connect Garhwal and Kumaon divisions, under which work is going on to connect Chamoli to Munsiyari in the border area by direct road.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all the road related schemes going on in the state of Uttarakhand would be completed in full quality and on time. He said that I have full faith in the employees of BRO that you people are working hard, diligently and honestly. The work of providing employment to other people is also being done by BRO in which more than 90% people are working from local level in any project. During this, the Chief Engineer of BRO, Vimal Goswami was also apprised about the road construction works being done in the higher Himalayas under the Diamond Project.
On this occasion MP Ajay Tamta, President Forest Development Corporation Uttarakhand Kailash Chandra Gahatodi, President District Panchayat Jyoti Rai, MLA Ranikhet Pramod Nainwal, State General Secretary BJP Vikas Sharma, BJP District President Deep Pathak, State Minister BJP Hema Joshi, Municipal President Tanakpur Vipin Kumar, District Magistrate Narendra Singh Bhandari, Superintendent of Police Devendra Pincha and others were present.
