Uttarakhand : CM inaugurated 7 schemes and laid the foundation stone of 23 schemes and gave development gift to Champawat

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday inaugurated a job fair organized under the joint aegis of the District Administration and Employment Department at APJ Abdul Kalam Engineering College, Tanakpur, Champawat. On this occasion, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 30 schemes worth 8417.93 lakh under both the Vidhan Sabhas of Champawat district, Champawat and Lohaghat. He also inaugurated the library, laboratory and smart classroom built under the Chief Minister’s announcement at APJ Abdul Kalam Engineering College. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the construction of women’s hostel in APJ Abdul Kalam Engineering College and monthly honorarium to the guest teachers of the college under technical education like higher education.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took information from the representatives of various companies who had reached the employment fair, as well as interacting with the unemployed youth from different areas for employment and said that they should take advantage of this golden opportunity. While on the one hand big companies from Uttarakhand state and other states are participating in the employment fair, on the other hand, many youths are getting employment from such job fairs being organized all over the state. Many youths will get employment from this fair organized in Champawat assembly. On the strength of their talent and hard work, our youth will make an important contribution in the development of Uttarakhand state and country.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Champawat, the land of deities always gives new energy to them. He said that today is a very special day for the youth. Talented youth will get new opportunities today. He appealed to all the youth present in the fair to become employable as well as give employment, the youth here will contribute their best in whatever field they go to with their talent.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that while the Uttarakhand government is working to provide employment in the private sector, the UKPSC has also issued a calendar for upcoming recruitment for jobs in government departments. He said that the government has taken seriously the disturbances going on in UKSSSC for a long time. Corruption of any kind will not be tolerated in competitive examinations. The investigation of irregularities in UKSSSC competitive examinations is being done by STF and Vigilance. So far 45 accused have been arrested by them. This investigation will continue till the last accused is not arrested. He said that all the vacant posts will be filled at the earliest. 19 thousand vacant posts in various departments will be filled soon.

Due to which all-round development is being seen in Uttarakhand today.
