Radha Raturi, a senior IAS officer posted as Additional Chief Secretary Home in the Uttarakhand government, gave a sensational statement on the working style of the UP Police with enthusiasm on Monday. However, as soon as questions were raised on this statement, he clarified by taking a U-turn in this matter. Now IAS officer Radha Raturi said that the police of all the states including UP and Uttarakhand are doing a good job. They hope that the innocent will not be implicated in any case and the police will only take action against the guilty.

Actually, Additional Chief Secretary Home Radha Raturi had a press conference on Monday at Uttarakhand Secretariat Dehradun. During this, he was questioned about the action of the UP Police in Kunda police station area of Udham Singh Nagar district and the death of the eldest block chief’s wife due to bullet injuries. On this, Additional Chief Secretary Home Radha Raturi had said that the UP Police solves the case by catching innocent people. If the police punish the innocent, then 99 new criminals will be ready.
