Ambani’s Reliance is the best company in the country, RIL at number 20 in Forbes’ ‘World Best Employers-2022’ list, Samsung number-1

Forbes has recently released the ranking (list) of ‘World Best Employers 2022’. In this list, India’s largest company Reliance Industries (RIL) is at number 20 in terms of revenue, profits and market value. At the same time, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance is the best employer in India.

South Korea’s Samsung tops the list
South Korean giant Samsung Electronics is at number one in the Global Best Employers list. After this, US giant Microsoft is second, IBM third, Alphabet fourth and Apple at number 5. American companies dominate the list from second to 12th number. Then the German automaker is at number 13 in the BMW Group list.

2.30 lakh employees work in Reliance
Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer, is ranked 14th on the list and French giant Decathlon is at number 15. Oil-to-telecom-to-retail group Reliance at number 20 with 2.30 lakh employees is the highest ranked Indian firm on the list.

Reliance the only Indian company in the top-100
Germany’s Mercedes-Benz, America’s beverage maker Coca-Cola, Japanese auto giant Honda & Yamaha and Saudi Aramco have also been left behind from Reliance Group in this list. Apart from Reliance, there is no other Indian company in the top-100.

These Indian companies also included in the list
HDFC Bank is at number 137 in the list. Apart from this, Bajaj (173rd), Aditya Birla Group (240th), Hero MotoCorp (333rd), Larsen & Toubro (354th), ICICI Bank (365th), HCL Technologies (455th), State Bank of India (499th), Adani Enterprises ( 547th) and Infosys (668th) are other Indian companies in the list.

800 companies included in the list
Forbes said that it has prepared this ranking in collaboration with market research company Statista. For this, about 1.50 lakh employees working in different MNCs in 57 countries were interviewed. 800 companies have been included in this list. Companies have been rated on aspects such as image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality and social responsibility.
