The weather changed once again in Uttarakhand. In this sequence, there was fresh snowfall on Monday at Badrinath Dham located in Chamoli district. The hills here covered with a white sheet of snow. It started getting bitterly cold. Please tell that the doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed on Saturday, November 19 for winter. The portals of Shri Badrinath Dham will be closed on November 19 as per law for the winter season. Under which the process of closing the doors in the Dham will start from Tuesday. Tomorrow, with the closing of the doors of the Ganesh temple located in the temple premises, the process of closing the doors of Badrinath Dham will be started.

The doors of Lord Ganesha’s temple will be closed first

Dharmadhikari of Badrinath Temple, Radhakrishna Thapliyal told that as per tradition, the process of closing the doors of Badrinath Dham will be done tomorrow along with the closing of the doors of Lord Ganesha’s temple.

The doors of Badrinath will be closed on November 19

After this, on November 16, the Adikedareshwar temple, on November 17, keeping Khadak books in the sanctum sanctorum, the recitation of Vedas will stop and on November 18, Maa Lakshmi will sit in the sanctum sanctorum. After which, on November 19, the doors of Badrinath Dham will be closed for the winter season with Panchang calculations and religious beliefs.

Weather changed in Uttarakhand

The weather has changed in Uttarakhand. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, there was rain and snowfall in the mountains of the state. Whereas in the plains, there was a camp of clouds in the sky. This has increased the chill. A drop in temperature has been recorded from the mountains to the plains. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light snowfall in the mountainous areas and rain in the low-lying areas.
