BJP released a sting video
In fact, before this, the BJP released a sting video on Monday, in which a former worker of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in North-West Delhi has accused AAP of selling tickets for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. BJP’s national spokesperson Sambit Patra aired the purported video of the sting in a press conference, alleging that AAP and its chief Arvind Kejriwal were deeply involved in corruption.
Rs 80 lakh demanded for ticket
Patra alleged that AAP worker Bindu made this sting video, demanding Rs 80 lakh for AAP’s ticket from Rohini D ward in MCD elections. Patra claimed that it is seen in the video that former activist Bindu is allegedly talking to some alleged leaders of AAP regarding the payment of money. He claims that these include North-West Delhi Lok Sabha in-charge RR Pathania and Rohini assembly seat coordinator Puneet Goyal.
Relation to the five-member committee
The BJP leader said that these leaders, including Pathania and Goyal, have links with the five-member committee of AAP that was involved in ticket distribution. AAP ministers Gopal Rai, Durgesh Pathak, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi as well as Adil Khan are its members. However, the authenticity of the video is yet to be verified.
