Aftab will be produced in Saket court at 3-4 pm through video conferencing. Till now the Delhi Police has taken custody for a total of 10 days. In such a case, he can be taken into police custody for 14 days. So the police have 4 more days and today the police will again demand Aftab’s custody.

The police will match the remains with the DNA sample of Shraddha’s father, for which they will be sent for forensic examination. Aftab confessed to hiding all the evidence related to Shraddha. He destroyed three photographs of Shraddha found in the house after killing her. The police have also recovered Shraddha’s bag from Aftab’s Chhatarpur flat, along with some of her clothes and shoes. Mumbai’s Shraddha used to live in Mumbai in a live-in-relationship with Aftab. But later both had shifted to Delhi. Police say that in May, Oftab killed Shraddha in Mehrauli, Delhi.
