‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’: Rahul Gandhi got the support of sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in BJP’s stronghold

Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress is in a lot of headlines these days. Rahul Gandhi himself is leading this yatra. His sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also joined him in this journey. After leaving Maharashtra, this yatra is at the stage of Madhya Pradesh. Congress supporters led by the Gandhi family started the march from Borgaon in Khandwa. Rahul and Priyanka will visit the birthplace of freedom fighter and tribal icon Tantia Bhil before leaving for Khargone.

Today is the second day of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Madhya Pradesh. Priyanka Gandhi has also participated in this yatra which started from Khandwa. Robert Vadra is also with Priyanka. At the same time, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath and Sachin Pilot are also accompanying in the yatra, there is also a huge crowd of supporters. Today this journey will last for 23 kms. Rahul Gandhi will go to the birthplace of Tantya Bhil from Rustampur on the way and a public meeting will also be held there. In Madhya Pradesh, the yatra will reach Rajasthan on December 4 after passing through 6 districts in 12 days.

On the second day of this journey in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul started walking from Borgaon in Khandwa district. Along with Priyanka in the journey, her husband Robert Vadra and son Rehan were also seen walking. When Rahul sets out on a padayatra, the police personnel on both sides of the road make a security cordon of ropes for his safety. After Priyanka joined the yatra, excited Congress workers were seen repeatedly trying to get close to her while raising slogans in support of the brother-sister.

During this, the police personnel had to make extra effort to get them away from the safe cordon. However, after sunrise, when the yatra from Borgaon entered its second day in Madhya Pradesh, the crowd was less as compared to the first day, but as the day progressed, the convoy of people and vehicles increased. Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot was also seen walking with Rahul and Priyanka in the yatra.

Significantly, Rahul-led ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ will enter Rajasthan on December 4 after covering a distance of 380 km in Madhya Pradesh. Pilot joined the yatra in neighboring Madhya Pradesh at a time when the demand for a change in leadership in the Congress-ruled state has again gathered momentum before the yatra reaches Rajasthan. The supporters of the former Deputy Chief Minister have started pressing for his name for the post of Chief Minister.
