Shraddha murder case is not a case of love jihad, BJP bakes political bread, says Asaduddin Owaisi

AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has given a statement in the Shraddha murder case. He said that Shraddha murder case is not a case of love jihad. BJP sees it from the angle of religion, he said, objecting to Assam CM Himanta Vishwa Sharma’s statement in the public meetings given in the Shraddha murder case in Gujarat. While Owaisi expressed displeasure over giving it the form of love jihad, Bhopal MP Pragya Thakur called the Shraddha murder case as love jihad.

The Shraddha murder case has become a political issue in Gujarat. In the midst of these political statements, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that this massacre is being given a religious colour. Owaisi said that this is not a case of love jihad, but a case of oppression and murder of a woman. We look at it from this point of view. If we look at it through the prism of religion, then it will be unfair.

He said that if this is a case of love jihad, then what was the case of Prince Yadav in Azamgarh. In Delhi, a parent killed his daughter in the case of intercaste marriage and threw the dead body. What would you call it? I can tell you many such incidents. Owaisi said that such men in our country have this disease in their mind. Can’t say anything on this. BJP bakes political bread on this. This is absolutely wrong.

It is worth mentioning that Assam CM Himanta Vishwa Sharma has given impeccable statements in the case of Shraddha murder case in his public meetings in Gujarat. Referring to Delhi’s Shraddha murder case, he said in several public meetings that the country needs a strict law against ‘love jihad’. Addressing the public meeting, he said, ‘Aftab killed Shraddha and cut her body into 35 pieces. When the police asked him why he used to bring only Hindu girls, he said that they are emotional. There are others Aftab and Shraddha too, the country needs a strict law against ‘love jihad’.
