Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu gave instructions for speedy disposal of revenue promises during the review meeting of revenue promises at the Secretariat on Friday. The Chief Secretary instructed to clear the pending cases of revenue expeditiously by running a campaign. Said that its dynamic ranking should be done through data lake. The Chief Secretary also gave instructions to make all new cases online on the Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) from December 1 for speedy disposal of revenue cases. Instructing 100 percent implementation of RCMS in the state, he said that a time frame should be fixed for making all types of revenue courts online. While making new cases completely online, legacy data should also be uploaded as a campaign.

The Chief Secretary also gave instructions for monitoring the pending cases in the commissioner’s court by holding a meeting every month. He directed to dispose of the cases expeditiously in the Tehsildar court on high pendency. Said that work should be done to quickly fill the posts of Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar etc.

Due to the appointment of SDM etc. by the Chief Secretary for VIP programs, a lot of revenue work is obstructed, due to which the pendency increases. He instructed the officers to ensure the arrangement of Protocol Officer for this. With this, the District Magistrate and Deputy Collector will be able to spend more time in their work. He also instructed the officials to create 25, 30 more posts of SDM and recruit them soon. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary and President Revenue Council Mrs. Radha Raturi, Secretary Revenue Sachin Kurve and Commissioner and Secretary Revenue Council Chandresh Kumar Yadav and other officers were present.
