BJP leaders hoping for ministerial posts, president and vice-president posts in various corporations, authorities and commissions will be completed in the beginning of the new year. According to sources, the state BJP has prepared a list of more than 100 leaders in view of distribution of responsibilities. After getting the green signal from the central leadership, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami can start it by giving responsibility to 25 to 30 leaders in January. Then the responsibilities will be distributed in a phased manner.
Responsibilities were not distributed during short tenure
Responsibilities could not be distributed during the last short tenure of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This year, after the formation of the BJP government again under Dhami’s leadership, it was expected that the responsibility would be distributed soon, but this issue was hanging for the last eight months due to various reasons. Sometimes the by-elections of Champawat seat, sometimes the panchayat elections of Haridwar and then the reshuffle in the party’s organizational structure have been the reasons for this. Meanwhile, there was a voice from within the party that when the responsibilities have to be given, it is not right to delay it.
According to sources, in view of all this, the provincial leadership of BJP has collected names from all the districts in view of distribution of responsibilities and has now prepared its list. In this, the names of senior leaders of the party, some former MLAs, former responsibility holders, workers having hold in a particular area have been tested and kept in the list. Sources said that the Chief Minister, the State President and the State General Secretary’s organization have discussed twice about the names included in the list. Now this list is being sent to the central leadership. Efforts are being made to start distribution of responsibilities from the beginning of January itself.
BJP is such a party, in which all the work is done on time. The government and the organization want to give participation to senior workers so that the state can get the benefit of their experiences. In this episode, exercise is going on regarding responsibility distribution.
