Bihar : Big blow to Nitish-Tejashwi in Kudhni, BJP won in the struggle of thorns

BJP has registered victory in Kudni assembly by-election. Party’s candidate Kedar Prasad Gupta defeated Mahagathbandhan supported JDU candidate by 3632 votes. BJP candidate got 76648 votes while JDU candidate got 73016 votes. There were constant ups and downs in the struggle for the fork. If BJP was ahead in the first four cycles, then JDU got an edge in the next two cycles. This lead was maintained for two cycles. The BJP took lead in the seventh and eighth cycles, but then fell behind.

In the counting of votes from the ninth to the 18th cycle, the JDU candidate maintained its lead. In the last minute BJP started taking lead and it was maintained till the end. VIP candidate Nilabh Kumar stood at the third position. He got 9988 votes. AIMIM candidate Mohd. Ghulam Murtuza got 3202 votes. The BJP supporters are elated with this victory, while the leaders of the Grand Alliance are disappointed. JDU candidates exited the polling booth. He has not given any statement yet.

Competition between BJP and Grand Alliance
Let us inform that the main contest was believed to be between JDU’s Manoj Kumar Singh alias Manoj Kushwaha and BJP’s Kedar Prasad Gupta. The counting took place today after the polling on December 5. A large number of jawans were deployed outside the counting center. The counting of votes started at eight o’clock on Thursday morning at the counting center in the RDS College premises. 14 tables were set up for counting of votes in 23 rounds.
