Uttarakhand : CM Dhami inaugurates youth festival, increases incentive amount for Mangal parties

The 22nd State Level Youth Festival 2023 has started in Dehradun (State level youth festival inaugurated in Dehradun). Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami (State level youth festival) and Youth Welfare Minister Rekha Arya inaugurated the State Level Youth Festival 2023 by lighting the lamp. Along with this, the Chief Minister and the Sports Minister also inspected the various stalls set up in the campus. Teams from 13 districts are participating in this festival. This festival will be organized from January 4 to January 6.

Incentive amount of Mahila Mangal Dal increased

The Chief Minister also felicitated the Youth and Women Mangal Dals who did excellent work in the State Level Youth Festival. Along with this, CM Dhami also announced to increase the incentive amount to be given to youth and women’s mangal parties. The Chief Minister also announced that Youth Day would be celebrated every year at the district and state level like the Centre. Along with this, it was also announced to increase the incentive amount of Youth and Mahila Mangal Dals from 4 thousand to 5 thousand.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our country and the state are continuously moving forward. Today we have become the fifth largest economy in the world. Today we are celebrating youth festival. We need to take inspiration from the life of Vivekananda ji.

Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that today we need to take inspiration from Swami Vivekananda. Our present generation should work on saving its culture and civilization. The Sports Minister said that today our country and state are continuously moving forward. The cabinet minister said that Swami Vivekananda worked for equality of all religions, castes, men and women. Describing the life of Swami Vivekananda as a source of inspiration for the youth, he called upon to follow his ideals.
