‘Supreme’ relief to Trivendra in CBI investigation, said – ‘I will take legal action against those who make false allegations’

Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has got relief from the Supreme Court a few days ago in the corruption case. After getting relief from the Supreme Court, Trivendra Singh Rawat’s statement on this matter has come to the fore. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that an attempt was made to defame him by making false allegations. He said that he will take legal action against those who make false allegations against him (Trivendra Singh Rawat accused of corruption). For this, they are taking advice from legal experts. Former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who reached Bironkhal in the remote area, welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court, in which the Supreme Court quashed the decision of the Uttarakhand High Court, in which the former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was accused of corruption in the past. The instructions were given by the High Court. On this decision, Trivendra Singh Rawat once again said that his reputation has been hurt.

In fact, Umesh Kumar, an independent MLA from Khanpur assembly seat in Haridwar district, had accused former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat that when Trivendra Singh Rawat was the state in-charge of BJP in Jharkhand, he appointed a person to the post of Jharkhand Go Seva Aayog. Bribe was taken to get appointed. It is alleged that this amount was transferred to the account of Trivendra Singh Rawat’s relative.

After this allegation, a sedition case was filed against Umesh Kumar in Uttarakhand in the then Trivendra Singh Rawat government, for which Umesh Kumar filed a petition in the Uttarakhand High Court. On the other hand, Umesh had demanded a CBI inquiry from the Uttarakhand High Court, terming the allegations against former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat as serious.

The Uttarakhand High Court petitioned Umesh Kumar, this order (CBI investigation) of the Uttarakhand High Court was challenged by Trivendra Singh Rawat and the Uttarakhand government in the Supreme Court. The Uttarakhand government had demanded a stay on the CBI investigation in this matter. Today, on January 4, a hearing was held in the Supreme Court in this matter. The Supreme Court has stayed the order of CBI inquiry by the Uttarakhand High Court.
