‘Neither am I a saint, nor do I claim to solve any problem’, said Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham

Storyteller Acharya Dhirendra Shastri, known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, has given clarification on the allegations leveled against him. He said that we are not spreading superstition. We do not claim that we are solving any problems. I never said that I am God.

Dhirendra Shastri said that there is a right to religious freedom under Article-25 and under that he propagates religion. After this the narrator angrily said – I am a person who believes in the constitution. If worshiping Hanuman is a crime then FIR should be lodged against all Hanuman devotees, then think how these people make your face red.

I’m not a saint…

There are allegations against Dhirendra Shastri that being a saint, he speaks indecent language. On this Baba said that he is not a saint, then what is the indecency? He said that we have a disclaimer that we are not a saint. It may be known that Dhirendra Shastri recites stories at Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. He has influence in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Superstition Eradication Committee has made allegations

Dhirendra Shastri’s ‘Shri Ram Charitra-Charcha’ was organized in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The Superstition Eradication Committee had accused Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of witchcraft and spreading superstition. Committee chairman Shyam Manav had said that witchcraft is being promoted in the guise of ‘Divya Darbar’ and ‘Pret Darbar’. Common people are being looted, cheated and exploited in the name of God-religion. After this, it has been claimed that because of the Andh Shraddha Unmulan Samiti, the story of Dhirendra Shastri got completed two days earlier i.e. on January 11 itself.

It was said that when the committee complained to the police, Shastri fled. The committee said that Baba’s supporters came to know that there will be no bail if arrested under the anti-superstition law in Maharashtra, so Baba packed up beforehand.

After a week’s silence, Shastri said on this – I did not run away from Nagpur. This is absolutely false. We had already told that there will be a program of 7 days only. After this he said that when I had organized the divine court then why did not you come with the complaint? These are small minded people and are against Hindu Sanatan.
