Uttarakhand : CM Dhami did virtual participation in ‘Second Child-Youth Samagam’ program organized by “USERK”

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday virtually participated in the ‘Second Child-Youth Samagam’ program organized by the Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Center (USRC) from the secretariat. Appreciating the efforts being made by USERK for the development of scientific interest among the students, the Chief Minister said that USERK is providing an excellent platform to the students of the state in scientific and technical fields, due to which the students of the state can compete in the national level. And getting a chance to showcase their abilities at the international level. The Chief Minister also termed the efforts to provide completeness to the all-round development of the students by connecting them with programs like science exhibitions and skill development, a commendable initiative. He said that surely these efforts will also prove helpful in fulfilling the resolution of the state government of “Atmanirbhar Yuva-Aatmanirbhar Bharat”.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the whole world wants to benefit from the potential of India’s youth power. The National Education Policy that the country got under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi has created special opportunities for our youth. The new education policy is creating new opportunities for the development of our youth. Uttarakhand is the first state in the country which has done the work of implementing the new education policy effectively. The state government is working on a detailed plan to provide all possible help according to the interest of the students of the state.

He said that the youth of Uttarakhand, by working in various fields, are bringing laurels to the country and state at the international level on the strength of their talent and are increasing the pride of Uttarakhand in the field of sports, scientific research, art and culture. He said that “STEM Lab” has also been inaugurated on this occasion. He expressed hope that our students will get better opportunities to do excellent work in the field of science and research through this lab.
