Uttarakhand: Dhami said – those who do wrong will not be spared at all, will AE and JE recruitment be cancelled?

AE and JE recruitment exam of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission may also be cancelled. However, the commission has not taken any decision yet. On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, after the SIT investigation, a case was registered against nine accused in the AE and JE recruitment exam paper leak case. The Public Service Commission had conducted the written examination for the posts of AE and JE in April-May 2022 last year. In the commission’s recruitment examination, the main examination is conducted after the preliminary examination, but in AE and JE recruitment only the main examination was conducted. After this the commission declared the exam result. Some of the meritorious candidates have also been interviewed for JE posts.
Questions were raised on the AE and JE recruitments due to the disclosure of the paper leak case of the commission’s Patwari Lekhpal recruitment exam. Sanjeev Chaturvedi, the section officer of the commission in Patwari recruitment, was the main role in leaking the paper. This raised questions regarding paper leak in AE and JE recruitment exams. The commission handed over the investigation of the case to SSP Haridwar. After the SIT investigation, a case was registered against the nine accused.
