Madhya Pradesh / Shivpuri: Betrayed by friend, ran away with wife along with 2 children

A young man eloped with his best friend’s wife and her child from Baksanpur village of Khod police post area in the district. On Saturday, the aggrieved youth filed a complaint in the SP office by submitting an application and requested the police to find his wife and child. Earlier, the victim’s youth had lodged a complaint in the Khod police post. After the application in the SP office, the police has assured action after investigation.

Wife tricked by friend

Regarding the case, the victim told that he was friends with Shishupal Gurjar of the neighboring Khadela village, due to which he had to come and go home. Meanwhile, on January 25, 2023, when he was not at home, Shishupal Gurjar took his wife Bandana Pal away with him by seducing her. The wife also took her 2 year old child with her. The victim told that when he returned home, he did not find his wife at home. The 10-year-old boy told the victim that the mother had gone with Shishupal Gurjar with her younger brother. After which the victim searched a lot for the wife and child but could not find any clue of them.

Police accused of not taking action

The victim has told that after a lot of searching, when no clue of the wife was found anywhere, he reported the incident on January 31, 2023, at the Khod police post, on which the police made an adamant check and did not take any action regarding the incident. Khod police station in-charge Anshul Gupta said that on the complaint of the youth, the police has taken action as per the rules. When the young man’s wife was talked to on the phone, she has told to leave the house on her own free will.
