A video from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh is disturbing people a lot on social media. A nude girl comes out in the dark of night in Milak town of Rampur. During this, she rings the door bell outside people’s house. This incident of nude girl has been captured by many CCTV cameras. Meanwhile, the police issued a statement on Saturday saying that the nude girl has been identified. Rampur police after contacting the parents of the woman said that she is suffering from ‘mental health’. He is undergoing treatment in Bareilly for the last five years.

Along with this, the police also said that the family members of the woman have been advised to prevent such situations in future. People have been requested to avoid spreading misleading information on social media. Let us inform that this incident of late night roaming of nude girl allegedly took place on the night of 29th January. The police started the investigation after a local resident lodged a complaint. In the CCTV footage, the woman was allegedly seen roaming the streets of Milak town in Rampur.
Police had constituted the investigation team
According to media reports, in response to the video shared online, the official Twitter handle of Rampur Police informed on February 2 that a team has been formed to investigate the matter.
On 3 February, a police officer urged the public in a tweeted video to first clothe the nude girl and then inform the nearest station if the woman was seen on the road. He said that CCTV footage is being examined to identify the woman and initiate action in the matter.
Questions were being raised on the UP police
People on social media raised security concerns over the incident in Rampur, which was reportedly happening after midnight. A Twitter user questioned the police, “She was seen nude at 1.30 am on the road of Rampur. Where is that nude girl wandering!! Don’t know who is it? But in the CCTV footage she was seen nude till 3 am.. where is she after that? Police! What is law and order in the city? Shame on UP Police.
