For the past several years in the district, a young man was fooling people by wearing UP police uniform, who was arrested by the police. The young man was openly flaunting the people by wearing uniform without any hindrance. As soon as the police officers got the information about the fake policeman. The police arrested and registered a case under serious sections and sent him to jail. Fake ID card, belt and phantom bike have also been recovered from the fake policeman.

SP City Praveen Ranjan Singh told that the police has arrested a fake constable who was roaming around wearing a fake police uniform. The name of the young man is Vishal Kumar, who is a resident of Haldaur area of Bijnor. For the last many years, wearing the uniform of the UP Police, he was fooling the innocent people of Bijnor and was trying to extort money from them.

The SP said that during this time, as soon as the police got information that a policeman near the bank was harassing unnecessary people and threatening them. On the basis of information, Inspector-in-charge Nagar immediately reached the spot along with his team and questioned him. After questioning, when the police got suspicious, they took strict action. After this the address of the fake constable was exposed. The police arrested the fake constable. A jacket written by the UP Police has been found from it, along with a phantom bike, a fake ID card of the UP Police has been recovered. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections and sent to jail.
