Kidnapping from Bharatpur, Murder in Bhiwani! Know who is Monu Manesar, the police of two states are searching for him?

There has been a stir from Haryana to Rajasthan in the case of two skeletons being found in a burnt Bolero in Bhiwani on Thursday. Both the deceased are residents of Bharatpur in Rajasthan. It is alleged that both were abducted from Bharatpur and murdered in Bhiwani. The relatives of the deceased have accused 5 Bajrang Dal workers of kidnapping and murder. The name of Monu Manesar is also included in these. It is believed that the whole matter is related to cow smuggling. However, the police say that they are engaged in the investigation.

What is the whole matter?

On February 16, two skeletons were found in a burnt Bolero near Barwas village of Loharu in Bhiwani, Haryana. The deceased have been identified as Nasir (25) and Junaid (35). Both are residents of Bharatpur in Rajasthan. The relatives of the deceased have alleged that Bajrang Dal workers abducted and killed both of them from Bharatpur. The bodies of both were found at Loharu in Bhiwani, about 200 km from Bharatpur. Junaid had 5 cases of cow smuggling registered. While no crime record of Nasir has been found.

The police have registered a case on the complaint of the cousin of the deceased. Police has registered a case against Monu Manesar, Anil, Srikant, Rinku Saini, Lokesh Singla in this matter. All are workers of Bajrang Dal and call themselves cow protectors.

What is the claim in the complaint?

Khalid, the cousin of the deceased, lodged a complaint with the Gopalgarh police station on Wednesday about the abduction of two people. According to Khalid’s complaint, his two cousins Junaid and Nasir had left for some work in Ferozepur, Haryana. But some unknown person told him that some people in a Bolero car had taken two people towards the forest while fighting.

Khalid told in his complaint that when he reached the Piruka forest in Gopalgarh with his family members, they found pieces of broken glass of the car there. Local people said that Anil, Srikant, Rinku Saini, Lokesh Singla, Monu, residents of Haryana, were fighting with two people riding in the Bolero car. They took him in the same car. Khalid had accused these accused of kidnapping in the complaint.

What action has the police taken so far?

Police has started investigation in this matter by registering a case under section 143, 365, 367, 368 of IPC. In this case, half a dozen people are being detained and interrogated. However, the police say that it will be known only after investigation whether the matter is related to cow smuggling or not.

On the other hand, CM Ashok Gehlot expressed grief over the matter and directed the police to take strict action. Gehlot tweeted that the killing of two people, residents of Bharatpur’s Ghatmika, in Haryana is condemnable. Rajasthan and Haryana police are taking action in coordination. One accused has been taken into custody and the search is on for the remaining accused. Rajasthan Police has been directed to take strict action.

According to the news agency, the police say that the people against whom the complaint has been lodged are all Bajrang Dal workers. But they were involved in this case, it is not yet clear. According to the police, 5 cases of cow smuggling were registered against Junaid.

BJP spokesperson Ramlal Sharma said whether the accused have links with Bajrang Dal or are cow protectors is a matter of investigation. It is not fair to defame any institution. It would be better if the police takes action against those who are guilty.

Who is Monu Manesar?

Monu Manesar’s full name is Mohit. He is a resident of Manesar. He has been associated with Bajrang Dal for the last 10-12 years. For the last few years, he has emerged as the main face in the encounter with cow smugglers. Monu has also been accused of shooting the young man. In this case, he is running out of the custody of the police. Monu is also a member of the Cow Protection Task Force.

Gehlot government should apologize – Vishwa Hindu Parishad

On the other hand, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has asked the Gehlot government to apologize for accusing Bajrang Dal. Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Dr. Surendra Jain said that it is extremely unfortunate to find some moving male skeletons in a burnt vehicle in Loharu, Haryana. Whether this fire took place in an accident or was set by someone, it is yet to be investigated. The vehicle belongs to Rajasthan but to whom the skeletons belong, this is also a matter of investigation. The culprits must be punished after conducting a fair probe into the matter. He said that the name of Bajrang Dal is being dragged in this matter without investigation. There should be a CBI inquiry in this matter.
