Mandla district police of Madhya Pradesh has arrested a fake IPS officer. The accused pretended to be an officer of the Indian Police Service and lured two girls with jobs. He got the paper done in a fake way on WhatsApp and also got the selection done. Then he was preparing to call both of them to Delhi on the pretext of training. However, before this the accused was caught by the police. Actually, two girls studying in the first year of Mandla’s Government Jagannath Munna Lal Chaudhary Women’s College live on rent in Lal Bahadur Shastri Ward Mandla. On January 9, 2023, a call comes on his mobile. The caller introduces himself as Manish Parte, IPS and asks, “You want to do a job in the police?” On this both the friends replied yes.

After this, the person who called himself IPS officer Manish Parte asked for his Aadhaar card, photo and 12th class marksheet from WhatsApp number. Then he took the exam by sending some questions on WhatsApp and messaged that your selection has been done in Railways. Then he said that your one month training will be in Delhi. You people meet at Nagpur bus stand with preparation on 15th March and 20-25 girls have also been selected, those girls will also meet at Nagpur bus stand on 15th March 2023.

After this, both the friends informed the landlord about vacating the house with the intention of going to Nagpur. When the mistress heard the whole story, she got suspicious. When he immediately informed the police about the whole incident, the whole matter became clear. The accused, who called himself IPS officer Manish Parte, turned out to be Anand Dhurve.

The police have started investigation by registering a case of cheating against the accused. Along with this, the accused was arrested and sent to jail. The police is also engaged in connecting the strings of this whole case. The police have also arrested two other accused who had provided the mobile numbers of the girls to Manish Parte.

ASP Gajendra Singh Kanwar said, Anand Dhurve, a resident of Ghughri police station area, introduced himself in the name of IPS Manish Parte and took examination from girls in the name of getting a job. Made a false selection and was about to be taken to Delhi via Nagpur. Taking cognizance, the police took immediate action and arrested the person. A case has been registered under 420 of police station Kotwali.

According to the police officer, the girls are lured and sent to Delhi and other states in the name of getting them jobs. Then exploitation is done by engaging in many types of work ranging from domestic work. In lieu of this, the accused get a huge amount.
