Uttarakhand: Chief Minister made digital transfer, 6286 beneficiaries received 01 crore 89 lakhs under Vatsalya Yojana

The Chief Minister’s single women’s self -employment scheme will be started in the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced this in a program organized on the topic of ‘Empowerment to Empowerment to Empowerment’ at the Chief Sadan at the Chief Minister Housing at the Chief Minister’s Housing on the occasion of the conclusion of Women Empowerment and Security Week organized under the International Women’s Day. The Chief Minister also honored single women on the occasion. Digital transfer of Rs 01 crore 89 lakh to 6286 beneficiaries of Vatsalya Yojana was done by the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while bowing to the mother power, said that in our Indian Sanatan culture, women have the status of Goddess. Today, women are not less than men in any field, they are standing shoulder to shoulder with men everywhere. Women have proved themselves in every field. Today, women in inaccessible villages of the state are giving impetus to rural economy through self -help group. Through their skill capacity, women are strengthening the economy of their families. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many efforts have been made to empower the mother power. Today, about 23 crore women across the country have been connected to banks through public money accounts. Today, many efforts have been made to keep our women power at the forefront of India’s development journey from financial inclusion to social security, quality healthcare to housing, from education to entrepreneurship. These efforts will continue with even more enthusiasm in the coming times.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has worked fast to give full benefit of 30 percent reservation to women of the state in government jobs. Today, all the mothers and sisters of the state have done the work of making themselves financially self -sufficient with their tireless hard work, while the civilization and culture of Devbhoomi have also been kept alive. He said that our goal is to make Uttarakhand the leading state of the country by 2025. The government needs blessings and support of mother power to achieve this goal. He hoped that this Women Safety Week Program would prove helpful in fulfilling the resolve of the strong mother power, strong state of the government. Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Development Smt. Rekha Arya said that many works are being done towards women empowerment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in the state. Many schemes are being run through various departments to provide financial and socially strengthening women. Widow pension has been increased in the state. They deserve appreciation for the strength with which single women are raising their family. Today women are no less than men in any field. MLA Dalip Singh Rawat, Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Secretary HC Semwal, Additional Secretary Smt. Nivedita Kukreti and mother power were present on the occasion.
