Uttarakhand: CM Dhami meets Indian Foreign Service officials, discussion about promoting tourism in the state

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Indian Foreign Service officials Madan Kumar Ghildiyal, Bhaskar Bhatt and Mahendra Singh Patiyal on Monday at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told these officials of the Foreign Service that there are many possibilities in the field of tourism, garden, natural farming in Uttarakhand, these areas are being encouraged by the state government in the state. He said that some experts from those countries where good work is being done in these areas should be invited to the state. A meeting will be held with the officials to promote these areas in the state. The Chief Minister said that there are many possibilities in the field of yoga, Ayurveda and wellness in Uttarakhand. There are many experts of yoga and Ayurveda in the state. The Chief Minister said that the millet is being promoted rapidly in the state.

Indian Foreign Service officials said that a lot of work has been done in Bali in the field of tourism, he suggested that tourism can be promoted in Uttarakhand on the lines of Bali. He said that the state government will be given all possible help in the encouragement of the local products of the state which want to promote globally. On this occasion, Secretary R.K. Meenakshi Sundaram was also present.

Instructions to the District Magistrates of CM Dhami, review development works 2 times a month

District Magistrate must review development works twice a month. Even after sending whatever proposals are received by the District Magistrates for development works through MLAs, the District Magistrate should also take updates from the government of progress on it. There should not be any kind of relaxation in the solution of public problems. Unnecessary delay in disposal of letters should not be done nor unnecessary objections. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions to the officials during the review of the assembly constituencies of Lok Sabha constituency Almora. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that public problems can be resolved intensely, continuous dialogues should be established between public representatives and officials, for this purpose, the work of the legislative public interest is being reviewed. He instructed all the District Magistrates that most of the public problems should be resolved at the district level. The problems should be sent to the division and governance level only when needed. He said that there are different problems in different regions in view of the odd geographical conditions of the state. Officers will have to work keeping in mind the requirements of the region. The Chief Minister said that fast work should be done for the Manaskhand Corridor. He said that there are many possibilities to develop Almora, Pithoragarh and Champawat districts from the point of view of tourism.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed the officials that work should be done under the campaign to ensure that the work of cleaning the drains and the work of cutting the bush. A separate review will be done to further improve the Chief Minister announcements and health facilities. He said that the works of water life mission should be further accelerated. Constant efforts should be made towards simplification of complex processes. What works have been done by the departments for simplification of procedures will also be reviewed soon. In the meeting, MLAs were made aware of the construction and improvement of roads, construction work, need of specialist doctors, work related to flood control and other problems of the area. The Chief Minister said that whatever problems have been kept by the MLAs, the officials should try to resolve these problems quickly.
