Uttarakhand: BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt met Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, invited for Chardham Yatra

BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt met Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Rishikesh and invited him to visit Chardham Yatra. Bhatt requested the Honorable Minister to travel by road only, to which the Union Minister accepted. During this, State President Bhatt thanked the Union Minister for the speed and quality of other schemes including the all-weather road project being built in the Char Dham region of the state. He said that these schemes will definitely increase tourism and business activities in the state and new doors of employment will open. Bhatt said that there are immense possibilities of tourism in the state and with better connectivity for movement, tourists from the country and abroad can visit these beautiful areas of the state. He thanked him for expediting the construction of Dehradun Delhi elevated road.

The State President said that the proposals pending for smoothening the roads damaged by the calamity in the national highways located in the hilly areas of the state should be approved on priority. Union Minister Gadkari assured the state president to take action after considering all the demands.
