Uttarakhand: Congress demonstrated the budget session in Bharadisain, Harish Rawat stopped in Shimli

The budget session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly has started. The proceedings of the first day of the budget session are also going on. The Governor, who reached Bharadisain Vidhansabha Bhawan, took the salute of the first parade. After this, at exactly 11 o’clock, after Vande Mataram, the proceedings of the House started along with the Governor’s address. Even before the proceedings of the House started, the Congress MLAs started protesting by sitting on the stairs outside the assembly building.

Congress demonstrated before the budget session

The Congress MLAs were mainly seen demanding a CBI inquiry into the paper leak case and the Ankita murder case. However, the opposition party ended its protest even before the proceedings of the House began. After this, Congress MLAs went to the house. As per the schedule, the Governor’s address started at 11 am. After this, Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri will read the Governor’s address at 3 pm.

The budget will be presented on March 15

The budget session of the Vidhansabha has started from today in the Vidhansabha Bhawan located in Bharadisain, Gairsain, the summer capital of Uttarakhand. The budget session of the assembly will continue till March 18. On March 15, the government of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will present the budget. In view of the budget session, the opposition parties had announced the siege of the assembly. In view of this, section 144 has been imposed around the assembly. Police tried to stop the convoy of former Chief Minister Harish Rawat near Shimli on NH 109, 40 km from Vidhansabha Bhawan. All the opposition leaders including Harish Rawat are preparing to march to the assembly today on many issues including UKSSSC paper leak, recruitment scam, unemployment, law and order.
