Uttarakhand: 10 women including senior journalist Sadhna Sharma received “Strong Women Award”
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Senior Citizen Welfare Society honored ten great personalities who have done excellent work in various fields. Cantt MLA Smt. Savita Kapoor, along with senior doctors of Kailash Hospital, officials of Senior Citizens Welfare Society and family members were present as chief guests at the felicitation ceremony organized at Kailash Hospital, Haridwar Road.
The women who received the honor were Vimla Bahuguna, Sushila Baluni, Sadhna Sharma, Mrs. Rekha Bisht, mother of Martyr Chitresh Bisht, Mrs. Saroj Dhoundiyal, mother of Martyr Vibhuti Dhoundiyal, Dr. Neelima Prabha, Dr. Prachi, Saroj Kandwal, Kamla Pant and Rama.
