Uttarakhand: CM Dhami’s bold announcement, youth will not be troubled, cases against unemployed will be withdrawn, repair of roads will be completed by March 31

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced in the Vidhansabha that cases will be withdrawn from those unemployed who have to appear in competitive exams. He termed the lathicharge incident as unfortunate. He claimed that not a single exam conducted after the anti-cheating law came into force had cheating. He was making the statement during the discussion on the budget. He said that the opposition says that we have not done anything, but everything cannot be done in a hurry. The government has resolved to have copy-free exams. So far 81 accused have been arrested in the case of copying. Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya interrupted the Chief Minister that Huzoor has taken too long to bring anti-copying law. On this the CM said that it may come late but it should come well. He said that this is not a matter of politics.

Long term plan will be made for the development of Gairsain: CM

Chief Minister Dhami announced in the House a long-term plan for the development of summer capital Gairsain. He said that it is the effort of the government that arrangements should be made in Gairsain throughout the year. For this, the government will provide funds as per the requirement.

Draft of uniform civil code will be ready by july

The Chief Minister said that the work of drafting the Uniform Civil Code is going on at a fast pace. The draft will be ready by the month of July. Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country, where Uniform Civil Code will be implemented. We had said before the elections that we will make a uniform civil code. There should be a uniform law within the state. The committee has talked to the stakeholders.

ISBT to be built in Haldwani, waiting for forest land permission
CM said that ISBT will be built in Haldwani, but the land on which ISBT is proposed is forest land. The proposal for permission of forest land has been sent to the Centre. ISBT will be constructed after getting permission for forest land.

Repair of roads will be completed by March 31

The Chief Minister said that the government has launched a campaign to make the roads pothole-free. By March 31, the repair work of the roads will be completed in any case. He said that a provision of Rs 150 crore has also been made for the repair of PMGSY.

The CM appealed to all the people to stay in the home stays of the state. We hope that people will come to Chardham Yatra and buy the products made here. The CM said that Rishikesh has become a river rafting hub. Conducting survey for new river rafting site. National competition is being organized in the month of September. Besides this, the Chief Minister said that the state would get 11 more frontier villages under the Central Government Vibrant Village Scheme. Four villages were found in this scheme. This includes Mana.

Uttarakhand’s grand building will be built on one acre of land in Ayodhya

The CM said that the temple of Lord Ram is being built in Ayodhya. An in-principle agreement has been reached on giving one acre of land there from the UP government. A grand building of Uttarakhand will be built there.

Conversion is a big sin, that’s why strict laws were brought

The CM said that incidents of religious conversion were taking place in many areas of the state including Kotdwar, Udham Singh Nagar. This is a great sin in Devbhoomi, so strict laws should be brought.

The CM taunted the opposition that he has told the budget to be disappointing. Said that if there is hope in the mind then hope will be seen. If there is despair in the mind, then only despair will be seen.
