UP board result released, 89.78 percent in high school and 75.52 percent in 12th

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) released the results of class 10th and 12th on Tuesday. A total of 89.78% students passed in 10th. The passing percentage of boys is 86.64%, while that of girls is 93.34%. Whereas, the total result of class 12th has been 75.52%. In this, 69.34% boys and 83% girls have passed. A total of 432 students have been included in the top-10 in both the examinations.

Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur topped the class 10th. He secured 590 marks out of 600. Shubh Chhapra of Mahoba topped in class 12th. He secured 489 marks out of 500. Girls have outperformed both in high school and intermediate examinations. In the overall average of both the exams, the result of girls was ahead of boys by 10.18%.

179 students in top-10 in high school

  • The 10th result has been 1.57% more than last year. In 2022, 88.28% students passed.
  • This year 31,06,157 regular and 10297 private students were registered in high school. Of these, 2565176 regular and 5811 private have passed.
  • The passing percentage of girl students is 6.7% higher than that of boys. This high school result has been the best in the last 10 years.
  • 179 children have made it to the top-10 of the high school. Prachi Shahi is at the last number in Kushinagar in the toppers list.
  • He has secured 579 marks out of 600.
  • The best result in class 10th was from Kanpur Nagar with 94.41%. The worst performance was from Sonbhadra district with 77.82%.
  • Now if we compare the results, then in 2023 89.85% candidates passed, while in 2022 88.28% were successful. In this way only 1.57% result was better than last year.

13.66% girl students more successful than boys in Inter

  • The 12th result is 9.81% less than last year. The passing percentage of 12th in 2022 was 85.33.
  • This year 19,41,717 candidates were successful in the examination. Which was 75.52%. 253 students have made it to the top-10 in Inter.
  • The last name in the list is Nisha Patel of Kushinagar. He has secured 478 marks out of 500.
  • Amroha was the best performer in the Inter results. Whereas, the lowest number of children passed in Ballia. In Ballia 56.08% students passed.
