In which after some amendments, the government has given green signal to this proposal.

Sports Director Jitendra Sonkar said that on the posts of 5400 grade pay, a provision has been made for gold medalists of Olympics and medal winners in international sports. Whose rank in government job is up to SDM and Deputy SP. In addition to 5400 Grade Pay, 4800, 4600 and 2800 Grade Pay will be given to players who have won medals and participated in national and international competitions.

Sports Director Jitendra Kumar Sonkar told that the Finance Department has asked to amend the proposal of giving job only on 2000 grade pay and send it again. Not that the government has banned this entire proposal. About 16 departments have been identified in these four different categories, in which jobs are to be given to the players. At the same time, a meeting is to be held with these departments under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, in which the permission of the departments and consultation with the departments is also necessary.

He said that once the talks with the departments are held, a notification will be issued in this regard. The government has not sent back the proposal to keep the players who won medals in big international competitions in government jobs. Rather, we have registered some objections in the Finance Department regarding only 2000 grade pay, which was the smallest category, for which the proposal has to be sent again after amendment.
