Uttarakhand: Registration started for Kedarnath Yatra, closed due to bad weather

Due to the indifference of the weather in Uttarakhand, the registration for Kedarnath Yatra was stopped, but the good news is that the registration has been started again as soon as the weather clears up. After which a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the passengers. Whereas this morning the doors of Kedarnath Dham have been opened for the devotees. Chardham Yatra has started in Uttarakhand. After Yamunotri, Gangotri, the doors of Kedarnath have also been opened today. However, after the forecast of the Meteorological Department, it was believed that there could be heavy rain and snowfall in Kedarnath and Badrinath region, in view of which the registration in Kedarnath was stopped till 30 April. The special thing is that due to the clear weather today, registration has now been allowed. Passengers who have been stopped in Srinagar and Rishikesh can now go ahead for Chardham yatra after getting registered.

At present, a warning of heavy rain and snowfall has been issued by the Meteorological Department in the coming days. But since this morning the weather is completely clear and after good sunshine, it has been decided by the administration that the passengers who have been stopped should be allowed to go ahead for the darshan of Baba Kedar. At the same time, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar told that for the time being the registration will be done and the passengers will also be sent ahead. But looking at the weather conditions, further instructions will also be issued. If the weather is bad, then the officials will be directed to travel.
