ZPM leader Lalduhoma becomes CM of Mizoram, takes oath at Raj Bhavan
ZPM leader Lalduhoma has become the new Chief Minister of Mizoram. On Friday, he was administered the oath by Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan in the capital Aizawl. Apart from this, around 11 other leaders were also made ministers.
ZPM wins 27 out of 40 seats
Earlier in the ZPM meeting on Tuesday, Lalduhoma was elected the party leader and K Sapdanga was elected the deputy leader. All the MLAs including Mizo National Front leader and outgoing Chief Minister Zoramthanga, MNF legislature party leader Lal Chandama Ralte participated in the program. There can be only 12 ministers including the Chief Minister in the 40-member Mizoram Assembly. ZPM has won 27 out of 40 seats in the state assembly elections held on November 7.
