Ukraine became powerful again in the fight, Russia’s oil refinery and fuel depot were blown up by drone attack

More than 2 years have passed since the war between Russia and Ukraine. Till now, due to lack of weapons, Ukraine started lagging behind Russia in the war. But after receiving a consignment of Western weapons, Ukraine has once again made a strong comeback in the war. Ukraine has blown up Russia’s oil refinery and fuel depot in a major drone attack. Ukrainian drones attacked an oil refinery and a fuel depot in Russian border areas amid Kiev’s ongoing effort to disrupt the Kremlin’s way of waging war and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s demand for Western support in Europe’s largest war since World War II.
Officials in the targeted areas gave this information on Thursday. Zelensky is scheduled to join world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, in D-Day commemorations in France on Thursday. He is to meet French officials on Friday. Zelensky’s visit comes a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Russia could provide long-range weapons to other countries so that they could attack Western targets. The threat came after NATO allies said they would allow Ukraine to use weapons supplied to Kiev to attack Russian territory.
Ukraine is fighting with Russia on the border
Ukraine’s army is fighting to stop the recent Russian attack in the eastern regions. Russia wants to take advantage of the shortage of ammunition and troops on the nearly 1,000 kilometer border line after more than two years of war. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of Russia’s Security Council, said Putin’s comments made in St. Petersburg, Russia on Wednesday marked “an important change in our foreign policy.” Medvedev wrote on his messaging app channel, “Let the United States and its allies feel the impact of the direct use of Russian weapons by others.” Medvedev said Putin deliberately did not name the potential recipient countries of Russian weapons.
Fire broke out in the depot after the attack
He said that they (weapons) can be given to anyone who considers America and its allies as their enemies. Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev said that the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in Russia’s Rostov region was attacked by a drone at night, causing a fire. He said that the second attack forced firefighters to evacuate for some time. The damage caused in this is not yet known. Golubev said that there were no casualties. In another border region (Belgorod), a drone attacked an oil depot at night. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the attack caused an explosion in an oil reservoir and a fire broke out. He said that the fire was quickly extinguished and there were no casualties. It was not immediately possible to confirm the report.
