Uttarakhand / Haridwar: People entered the house and threw stones at mother and daughter, woman injured, case filed against five

In Haridwar’s Sidkul police station area, some unknown persons entered the house and attacked the woman and her daughter with bricks and stones. In which the woman was badly injured. Police has registered a case against five people on the basis of the complaint.

Entered the house and threw stones on mother and daughter

The incident is of Ambedkar Chowk of Sidkul police station area. Regarding the matter, Shivani told in the complaint that on the evening of June 21, some unknown persons including some women entered her house. During this, they started beating her mother badly with bricks and stones. When she went to save her mother, she was also attacked.

Police engaged in investigation

Shivani said that after making noise, people from the vicinity reached the spot. Seeing this, the accused fled after threatening to kill. On the basis of the complaint, police has registered a case against the accused. Regarding the matter, police station in-charge Manohar Singh Bhandari said that after registering a case, the investigation of the matter has been started.

The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother's neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
