Almora’s Ranikhet assembly MLA Pramod Nainwal’s brother has been arrested with illegal weapons. According to the information received, SSB has arrested MLA Pramod Nainwal’s brother Satish Nainwal in Banbasa of Champawat district on the India-Nepal border. SSB has handed over both the accused to Banbasa police station.

40 live cartridges of 7.65 mm recovered

During this time, while vehicles were being checked, Satish Nainwal (40 years), son of Chandra Dutt Nainwal, a resident of Nainital, and his driver Dinesh Chandra (47 years), son of Sher Singh, a resident of Almora, were arrested with 40 live cartridges of 7.65 mm. Apart from this, other illegal items were also recovered from both of them.
