New executive committee formed in the 10th annual session of Uttarakhand Finance Service Association, Finance Minister said – Finance service is an important part of the government
The 10th annual convention of Uttarakhand Finance Service Association was organized at Hotel Aketa on Rajpur Road in Dehradun. On this occasion, Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal was present in the program as the chief guest. The convention was inaugurated by Finance Minister Premchand Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Anand Bardhan, Secretary Finance Dilip Jawalkar, Director Treasury Dinesh Chandra Lohani and President of Uttarakhand Finance Service Association Jaipal Singh Tomar by lighting the lamp.
On this occasion, the Finance Minister in his address praised the contribution of the officials associated with the finance service and said that the finance service is a prestigious service. The Finance Department is an important part of the government which plays an important role in creating financial discipline. The Finance Minister said that the state government is running many welfare schemes for the all-round development of the state. The Finance Department plays a very important role in the successful implementation of these schemes. Describing financial discipline as the foundation of strong governance, the Finance Minister assured positive action on the demands of the association.
In his address, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan mentioned in detail the contribution of Uttarakhand Finance Service in the development of the state. He said that according to the changing social scenarios, the officers will have to explain their working methods and rules, so that the government can fulfill the expectations of the general public.
On this occasion, the executive of Uttarakhand Finance Service was reorganized. Keeping Jaipal Singh Tomar as President, Khazan Chandra Pandey as General Secretary and Bhupendra Prasad Kandpal as Vice President Garhwal, Surya Pratap Singh was elected as Vice President Kumaon, Sanjeev Kumar as Treasurer and Mrs. Shashi Singh as Secretary Administration. General Secretary of the Association Khazan Chandra Pandey gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the entire Finance family.
The program was conducted by Tripti Srivastava, Finance Controller Raj Bhavan. During this, Additional Secretary Chief Minister Manmohan Mainali, Additional Secretary Finance Arunendra Chauhan, Ganga Prasad, Amita Joshi and other officers of Uttarakhand Finance Service were present.
