National Games is a big opportunity for Uttarakhand, it will be recognized as a sports land along with Devbhoomi- CM Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who returned from Delhi after congratulating PM Modi on BJP’s victory in Haryana, spoke to the media in Dehradun. He told that the Haryana Assembly elections have been completed. In this election too, the people of Haryana have expressed their faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also, a double engine government has been formed for the third consecutive time. This will lead to the development of Haryana.
The CM said that he met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi yesterday and congratulated him on this victory. Along with this, he also discussed many issues with PM Modi regarding the developing schemes of the state, including 21 hydroelectric projects of the state, Dehradun Delhi Elevator Road, Ring Road related work, and requested to expedite the work of ropeway.
CM Dhami told that he had also met Olympic Association President PT Usha. During this meeting, he expressed gratitude for fixing the date of the 38th National Games to be held in Uttarakhand between January 28 and February 14. In such a situation, now the Uttarakhand government has started preparing for the National Games. Also, the arrangements will be improved by taking experience from the National Games held in other states of the country. So that the game to be held in Uttarakhand is special, because it is Devbhoomi and the players should take a good experience from Devbhoomi.
He also said that the government wants Uttarakhand to be identified as a sports land along with Devbhoomi. For this, the proposed National Games is a big opportunity. At the same time, the Rules Making and Implementation Committee constituted to prepare the rules of the Uniform Civil Code has prepared the draft of the UCC rules.
In fact, the last meeting of the Rules Making and Implementation Committee was held on 7 October, after which the committee has sent the rules draft for printing. In such a situation, it is being speculated that the Uniform Civil Code may be implemented in the state of Uttarakhand on State Foundation Day i.e. 9 November. On the question of implementing UCC in the state, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Uttarakhand government is fully ready and eager to implement UCC. The public also wants that UCC should be implemented as soon as possible, the government is working in that direction.
