Russian girl was travelling by Gaya-Kamakhya Express, a big incident happened in the train, there was a stir from GRP to Railway Ministry

India is very popular and famous among tourists from all over the world. Every year a large number of tourists come to India to experience the historical heritage and culture of this place and take good memories with them. But, such incidents happen with some tourists that they feel bad. Something similar has happened with a Russian female tourist. She was on a tour of India and was traveling by Gaya-Kamakhya Express train. The Railway Ministry said that during the train journey she was making a video of the Falgu river when her mobile phone (iPhone) was looted. Now it has been claimed that the location of the smartphone looted from the Russian tourist has been found. The location of the phone looted in Bihar has been found in Maharashtra.

According to the Railway Ministry, Russian female tourist Nina Nikonorova was travelling by Gaya-Kamakhya Express on August 17. She was making a video of the Falgu river from the running train. At that very moment, her hand was attacked with a stick and the accused fled with the phone. Nina Nikonorova said that after the incident, she had lodged a complaint in this regard at the GRP police station at Gaya, Sheikhpura and Kamakhya railway stations. After receiving information about the robbery from the Russian tourist, the GRP and RPF teams conducted a special operation to nab the accused and recover the smartphone. The GRP and RPF teams took Pintu Kumar and Sajan Kumar into custody within a few days. The Railway Ministry said that 3 stolen mobile phones were recovered from both of them, but Nina’s mobile phone could not be traced. During interrogation, both of them told that the Russian tourist’s phone is with Sahil Paswan, a resident of Manpur (Bihar). Sahil had allegedly hit Neena’s hand with a stick and snatched her phone.

Alert came on reaching Russia
Meanwhile, Nina Nikonorova returned to Russia after completing her India tour. The Railway Ministry said that in October, Nina received an alert on her iCloud about her phone being activated. After this, Nina immediately informed the GRP and RPF about it. According to the alert on Nina’s iCloud, her smartphone was activated in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Nina provided all the information to the security forces through e-mail. Investigation was started on the basis of the information received from Nina. The investigation has confirmed that the smartphone is with Sahil Paswan. Now the GRP and RPF team are conducting raids to arrest Sahil and recover the mobile phone.

Railways has also launched Operation Satark to curb crime, under which continuous action is being taken against criminals. This operation has been quite successful so far.
