Woman dies due to wasp attack in Bageshwar

A swarm of wasps attacked a woman in Ghanshyamnagari Tok of Baisani village in Kapkot. In which she died. According to the information received, on Wednesday morning, Hema Devi (40), wife of Ravindra Singh, a resident of Baisani village, was cutting grass in the fields. During this time, wasps attacked her.

The woman did not even get a chance to recover

The woman did not even get a chance to recover due to the sudden attack of wasps on her. Hearing her screams, her brother-in-law Rajendra Singh went to see the fields and saw that Hema Devi was attacked by a swarm of wasps. Somehow they saved her and brought her home. From where Hema Devi was rushed to the hospital. In the district hospital, Dr. Preeti Yadav referred her to a higher center after primary treatment.

Villagers demanded compensation for the family

The family was preparing to take Hema Devi to a higher center but during this time she died. It is being told that Hema’s husband works in a private company in Daman. They have two children, one of whom is disabled. Villagers have demanded compensation for the family of the deceased. After conducting the post-mortem of the body, the police handed over the body to the family.
