According to the information received, a person from the area had given a complaint to the police. In which he told that the youth working in the shop had befriended his 17-year-old daughter on social media. On February 16, the youth called the teenager to Tharali to meet. After which the youth raped the teenager by giving her intoxicants.

When the teenager regained consciousness, the youth made her pornographic video at knife point. After which the teenager stopped talking to the youth. Meanwhile, the youth made the obscene video of the teenager viral. The police arrested the accused on Wednesday. After which the accused was produced in the court and sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days. The atmosphere in Tharali has become heated since the incident. After which heavy police force has been deployed in the area.
