Uttarakhand: Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat missing from voter list, BJP takes a jibe, Mahendra Bhatt fires arrows of statements

In the Uttarakhand Municipal Corporation Election 2025, the disappearance of the name of former Chief Minister of the state Harish Rawat from the voter list has become a topic of discussion. Due to this, Harish Rawat has not been able to cast his vote in the civic elections. He has blamed the BJP for not having his name in the list. At the same time, BJP has now responded to Harish Rawat’s allegations with sarcasm.

At the same time, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt’s statement has come out on Harish Rawat’s allegations. He said that how aware Harish Rawat is about voting, it can be known from the fact that he has gone out to find his vote on the day of voting. Perhaps Harish Rawat does not even know where he is a voter.

State President Mahendra Bhatt said that Harish Rawat sometimes contests elections from Haridwar, sometimes from Udham Singh Nagar and sometimes from Almora. Harish Rawat does not even know whether he is a voter from rural area or a voter of the civic body. State President Mahendra Bhatt said sarcastically that when one starts losing on the day of elections, some ways are found to accuse. His only goal is to find his vote in Dehradun.

By creating such situations, state president Mahendra Bhatt has said that Harish Rawat is only doing a pretense drama. Such drama does not befit a senior Congress leader. Apart from Harish Rawat, the names of Congress state spokesperson Garima Dasauni and other members of her family are also missing from the voting list.

Garima says that her and her family’s names are not found in the voter list. She had also voted in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections. But her name is missing from the list of this time’s civic elections.
