Truth and Reality

Amit Shah had formed the BJP government by camping in UP, now he is preparing to camp in Bihar

Many questions are being raised due to the increasing interest of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Bihar politics. After the formation of the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, Amit Shah had said in December 2024 that the parliamentary board will decide who will be the next CM. Now he has said that as the elections come closer, he will camp in Bihar. For the first time, Shah’s statement had created a ruckus in Bihar politics. This time there is no whisper about his statement. JDU leaders, a major constituent of the NDA in Bihar, are also unable to understand what is going on in the mind of the BJP. BJP leaders are very excited about Amit Shah’s announcement of camping, while there is silence of tacit consent in JDU.

Amit Shah also talked about camping in Bihar on such an occasion, where JDU’s National Executive President Sanjay Kumar Jha was also present. Amit Shah, who arrived at the Shashwat Mithila festival in Gujarat, said that he will now camp in Bihar. Not only this, he also said that Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya, now a temple of Mata Sita will also be built in Mithila.

This is Amit Shah’s second statement in the context of Bihar within three months. When he first made a statement about the NDA’s CM face, JDU people were seen to be angry about it. CM Nitish Kumar’s silence after that statement also increased the suspense. There were speculations that Nitish Kumar, upset with this, could turn to the Mahagathbandhan. But, Nitish broke his silence after about a fortnight and said that he will not make the mistake of going with RJD again.

Meaning of Shah’s camping

Amit Shah is called the election strategist of BJP. Shah’s strategy has been the main reason behind BJP’s continuous victory in the states. Remember, the 2017 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Amit Shah was given the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh elections. He had camped there about two years ago. His booth level election management was quite effective. BJP government was formed in UP. Now if he camps in Bihar, its meaning can be understood.

Amit Shah has an amazing ability to make the situation favorable for BJP. His election strategy can also be understood from the fact that he has created a group of many leaders in BJP who are election experts. To give momentum to the sluggish BJP in Jharkhand, Shah appointed Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma. Dharmendra Pradhan is also a member of this group of Amit Shah.

Reason for silence in JDU

This time there is silence on Amit Shah’s statement of building Sita Mata’s temple in Janakpur and camping in Bihar before the elections. The main reason for this is the presence of JDU’s working president Sanjay Jha in that program in Gujarat. If anyone gets the smell of BJP dominating JDU in Shah’s words, then there is silence on this issue due to Sanjay Jha. Sanjay Jha has been a part of BJP earlier. Therefore, it is believed that he is inclined towards BJP. As the working president, Sanjay Jha did not make any adverse comment even when Shah left the decision of CM face to the parliamentary board.

JDU is becoming the big brother

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sounded the election bugle in Bihar. Deputy CM and former BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary says that he will come to Bihar again. Amit Shah is talking about setting up camp. There is no restlessness in JDU. It is believed that this time JDU will follow BJP. Till now JDU has been in the role of elder brother in Bihar. This has been due to the leadership of Nitish Kumar.

Nitish Kumar’s health is not good right now. He is also in his forties. In such a situation, JDU is not in a position to impose its conditions on BJP. JDU’s working president Sanjay Jha agrees with everything BJP says. That is why it is being said that this time BJP will be in the role of elder brother in the elections.

NDA constituents also silent

Other NDA constituents who used to show various tantrums for their share have also become silent now due to the increasing dominance of BJP. Along with Hindustan Awam Morcha (HAM) founder Jitan Ram Manjhi, who had threatened to resign from the Union Cabinet if the party gets fewer seats, Lok Janshakti Party- Ram Vilas (LJP-R) national president Chirag Paswan is also not speaking anything at the moment. RLM leader Upendra Kushwaha is also not opening his mouth. If anyone among them says something, then his talk is limited to the unity of NDA. This shows that BJP has dominated the constituent parties of NDA.

What will happen to JDU then?

There is also a concern in JDU that if BJP does not give the same importance to Nitish Kumar as before, then what will happen to the party. In this sequence, there is talk of Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar’s entry into politics. There is also a discussion that Nitish will first hand over the command of JDU to him. That is, JDU can make Nishant the national president. There is also a discussion of Nishant contesting elections from Harnaut assembly constituency.

If all this has to happen, then JDU will not wait for a long time for this. It is possible that some information about this may come out soon. It is already being said that Nishant may enter politics after Holi. But the question is whether the new leadership will be able to establish JDU the way it has established itself under the leadership of Nitish Kumar?
