Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat inspected Soban Singh Jeena Base Hospital in Haldwani. During the inspection, Kumaon Commissioner found many flaws. From the pediatric department of the hospital to the toilets, heaps of dirt were seen. Kumaon Commissioner reprimanded the hospital administration and sought an explanation from the CMS and instructed for immediate cleaning.
A big case of negligence has come to light in Kumaon’s largest Soban Singh Jeena Base Hospital in Haldwani. Actually, on receiving continuous complaints against the hospital, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat conducted a surprise inspection of the hospital on Saturday. During the inspection, the commissioner saw cockroaches crawling on the beds of the pediatric department. Due to which he got very angry.
After this, he inspected the toilets. Where there was a lot of dirt. Kumaon Commissioner reprimanded the hospital administration and sought an explanation from the CMS and instructed for immediate cleaning.
Commissioner Deepak Rawat gave a strict warning to the hospital management and said that if such negligence is found again in future, strict action will be taken against the responsible officers. He instructed for regular monitoring of cleanliness and warned the hospital administration not to be negligent.
The attendants say that the cleanliness system in the hospital remains poor. Due to which there is a risk of spreading infection. After this action of the administration, it is expected that the cleanliness system in the hospital will improve and patients will get better facilities.
