Uttarakhand: Good news for employees, now even those with grade pay up to 5400 will get the facility to travel by air

The state government has amended the conditions of travel leave (LTC) of employees. Now officers and employees up to 5400 grade pay will be able to avail travel facility by air along with rail in LTC. Secretary Finance Dilip Javalkar has issued orders in this regard.

On this decision, employee organizations have expressed gratitude to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Secretary Finance Secretary. Till now, there was a provision for the employee to take a minimum of 15 days of earned leave to avail the facility of travel leave. By amending the conditions, its limit has been reduced to a minimum of five days.

According to the order, employees of 5500 grade pay have also got the facility to travel by air in LTC. If they do not go to LTC by air, then they can travel first class in rail. Earlier they had the facility of second class AC. Fourth class employees will now be able to avail the facility of third class air-conditioned. Till now they had the facility of sleepers class in rail. Similarly, provisions have been made in other categories.
