Uttarakhand: CM Dhami participated in the ‘Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep’ program and inaugurated development projects worth ₹77.25 crore for Almora

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a multi-purpose camp organized in Tarikhet, Almora district, on Monday, as part of the “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” campaign. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with the local residents and also inspected the stalls set up by various departments. In this camp, eligible people were provided with the benefits of various government welfare schemes, and public grievances were addressed on the spot.
During the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 32 development projects in Almora district, worth approximately Rs. 77.25 crore. This included the laying of the foundation stone for 9 projects costing Rs. 47.85 crore and the inauguration of 23 projects costing Rs. 29.40 crore. The Chief Minister also made several important announcements regarding development works in the Ranikhet assembly constituency.
Addressing the thousands of villagers present at the camp, Chief Minister Dhami said that the government is continuously striving to make all administrative services and functions accessible to the people in their own areas. To this end, most government services have been made available online, and multi-purpose camps are being organized regularly to ensure the quick and effective resolution of public problems on the spot. The government has launched the “Government for the People, at the People’s Doorstep” campaign to bring governance and administration directly to the common people. The Chief Minister urged the people to take maximum advantage of the camps being organized at the Nyaya Panchayat level under this campaign and to freely share their problems and suggestions so that the government and administration can resolve them quickly and effectively.
The Chief Minister said that concrete steps are being taken to prevent migration from the hills and to promote the local economy and tourism. As a result of these committed efforts, the state is setting new records in various sectors. The survey report of the Migration Prevention Commission has recorded a remarkable 44 percent increase in reverse migration.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the Gwal Devta Temple in Tarikhet, Almora district, and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He then had a warm interaction with the school children studying at Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Tarikhet. While interacting with the children, the Chief Minister mentioned the year 2047, stating that it would mark 100 years of India’s independence, and that the reins of the country would then be in the hands of today’s children.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of discipline and punctuality, telling the children that making good use of time and maintaining a disciplined routine are essential for success in life. He made the interaction engaging by asking the children simple questions about their daily routine of going to and from school, and smilingly told them that discipline is the key to success.
The Chief Minister said that children from the hills learn to struggle and persevere in challenging circumstances, which gives them a special ability to progress in life. He urged the children to be proud of their language, dialect, and culture, saying that only those who remain connected to their roots can reach great heights.
