Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Dhami approved Rs 167 crore for various development projects

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved a sum of ₹167 crore for various projects in the state, including the improvement and reconstruction of roads, school buildings, development of the Har Ki Pauri area under the Haridwar Ganga Corridor project, construction of ghats and bridges, construction of helipads, beautification of various temples, and road construction.

Under the Chief Minister’s announcement, the Chief Minister has approved the following projects: ₹1.28 crore for the improvement of the Meerut-Pauri National Highway from kilometer 138 to the Lalpur-Kalalghati-Nayabad Old Kotdwar Haridwar motor road in Dugadda development block of Kotdwar assembly constituency; ₹3.20 crore for the improvement/asphalting of the Champawat Khetikhan motor road (64) from kilometer 8.00 to Suyalkhark Milan motor road under the state plan; and ₹4 crore for the reconstruction of the motor road from Nania Vinayak motor road to Bidari Pokharadhar in Betalghat and Kotabagh development blocks of Nainital assembly constituency.

Under the Chief Minister’s announcement, the Chief Minister has also approved the following projects: ₹13.39 lakh for the widening of the main roads leading to the under-construction Sainik Dham and the lower terminal of the Mussoorie Ropeway in Purukul, Mussoorie assembly constituency, Dehradun district; ₹7 crore for the reconstruction and improvement of the Kamajyula Bhanar Raighadi motor road in Lohaghat assembly constituency, Champawat district; and ₹5.38 crore for the construction of the Pokhri Chandikaghat motor road in Gangolihat assembly constituency under the state plan.

The Chief Minister has also approved a project worth ₹5.19 crore for the construction of an auditorium at Augustmuni Government Post Graduate College under the Chief Minister’s announcement. Under the Haridwar Ganga Corridor project, the Chief Minister has approved a plan of ₹70 crore for the renovation of Har Ki Pauri under the Har Ki Pauri Redevelopment Scheme, including the development of Malviya Island, Subhash Ghat, Kangra Ghat, and Rodi Belwala Ghat, and bridge construction. A further ₹69.34 crore has been approved for the development of the northern area of ​​Har Ki Pauri.

The Chief Minister has also approved a plan of ₹10.66 lakh for the first phase of construction of a helipad at Odal in the Lansdowne assembly constituency of Pauri Garhwal district.

The Chief Minister has approved ₹40.56 lakh for the beautification of the Maa Nanda Devi Temple in Chauna village of Pithoragarh assembly constituency, ₹40.41 lakh for the construction of a paved road from Chauna village to Buktikhet in Pithoragarh assembly constituency, and ₹40.14 lakh for the construction of a bridle path from Imla to Rajan Temple in Pithoragarh assembly constituency. Government orders regarding the approval of these schemes have also been issued.

The Chief Minister has approved ₹4.23 crore for the construction of a cowshed in the Khatima assembly constituency of Udham Singh Nagar district, ₹1.00 crore for the State Legal Council for their building in Haldwani (Haldwani assembly constituency), and ₹33.78 lakh for the installation of interlocking tiles on a 500-meter stretch of the road leading from the Devidhura main road to the college in the Lohaghat assembly constituency.

It is noteworthy that government orders have also been issued for 40 percent of the funds (₹1.69 crore) for the cowshed construction, ₹43.13 lakh for the first phase of the State Legal Council building construction, and the remaining amount of ₹22.52 lakh for the road interlocking work.
