Uttarakhand: Regarding the suicide case of a farmer in Kashipur, CM Dhami said that no culprit will be spared

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured the family of Sukhwant Singh, a farmer from Kashipur who committed suicide, that they would receive justice. He stated that no negligence would be tolerated at any level in the investigation of this case. The government stands with the bereaved family with complete sensitivity. No one responsible for this incident will be spared.
The Chief Minister spoke to Sukhwant Singh’s brother, Parvinder Singh, over the phone, expressing his condolences and offering comfort to the family. Speaking to Parvinder Singh in the presence of Sukhwant Singh’s father and other family members, the Chief Minister said that while this tragic incident cannot be undone, the government is committed to ensuring that those responsible are punished severely under the law.
The Chief Minister said that upon receiving information about the incident, he immediately instructed senior officials to take action and ordered a magisterial inquiry by the Kumaon Commissioner. The Chief Minister assured the family that they would receive justice at all costs. He said that in every incident that has occurred in the state, the government has acted promptly and with commitment to ensure justice for the victims. The Chief Minister also said that he would meet with the bereaved family soon.
