Uttarakhand: CM Dhami Listens to Grievances, Directs Officials to Ensure Prompt Resolution; Declares, “No Delay Will Be Tolerated.”

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today listened to the grievances of people hailing from various districts of the state at the ‘Mukhya Sevak Sadan’. During the public hearing, citizens presented their concerns before the Chief Minister regarding roads, drinking water, electricity, healthcare, education, land-related matters, and other issues of public interest.

CM Dhami Listens to Public Grievances
CM Dhami directed officials from the Chief Minister’s Office and relevant departments to take action on a priority basis regarding all complaints and demands received during the public hearing. Furthermore, he instructed that the progress of each case be monitored regularly. The CM emphasized that there must be absolutely no negligence or unnecessary delay in resolving the public’s problems.

Directives Issued to Immediately Forward Complaints to Relevant Departments
Chief Minister Dhami directed officials of the Chief Minister’s Office to immediately forward received complaints to the respective departments, ensure their resolution within a stipulated timeframe, and provide feedback to the complainants regarding the action taken. The CM stated that the government’s priority is to ensure the swift and effective resolution of problems faced by every citizen of the state.

‘Jan Sunwai’ (Public Hearing): A Medium for Establishing Dialogue Between Administration and the Public
The CM remarked that initiatives such as ‘Jan Sunwai’ serve as a powerful medium for establishing a dialogue between the administration and the public, enabling the government to gain insight into grassroots-level issues and facilitating the formulation of effective decisions for their resolution. The CM affirmed that the state government is working with a firm resolve towards public welfare, good governance, and holistic development.

The Chief Minister stated that extending the benefits of development schemes to the remote and border regions of the state ranks among the government’s highest priorities. He added that strict instructions have been issued to officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes and services reach the people with ease and in a time-bound manner, in alignment with public expectations.
