Uttar Pradesh: Cheating of 16 lakhs in the name of sending to Dubai, the accused handed over fake tickets to 17 people
A case of cheating of lakhs of rupees in the name of sending abroad has come to light in Meerut. The accused had so far cheated 16 lakh rupees from about 17 people. Not only this, the accused had also given fake visas and tickets to the people. This was revealed when these people reached the airport and were stopped from boarding the flight.
Victims complained after reaching Meerut SSP office
Now the victims have complained to the SSP office of Meerut. The police have registered a case and assured of further investigation. Residents of Sardhana had reached the SSP office along with the victims. It is being told that the accused is a resident of Secunderabad.
Cheated to get job in taxi driver and hotel in Dubai
The victims have told in their complaint to the police that they were extorted money on the pretext of getting them jobs as taxi drivers and hotels in Dubai. SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan spoke of taking strict action against the accused. The search for the accused is on.
