Uttarakhand / Dehradun: When Doiwala arrived as SDM customer of English liquor at the store

Deputy District Officer of Doiwala, Shailendra Singh Negi today himself suddenly arrived at the foreign liquor shop Bhaniyawala by posing as a customer

During this, he bought a bottle of Blender Pride at a foreign liquor shop as a customer.

During this, even the sales man of the English wine shop could not recognize him and he handed over the bottle of Blender Pride to the SDM at a higher price than the fixed rate. This salesman has been identified as Mausam Mittal.

After purchasing the bottle himself, SDM Doiwala inquired about the price and print rate of the liquor purchased from the customers present there, then he came to know that wine was being sold at this wine shop at a higher price than the fixed rate.

Deputy District Officer Doiwala Shailendra Singh Negi immediately called the Doiwala Kotwali police on the spot and conducted a thorough inspection of the shop.

During this, SDM Doiwala Shailendra Singh Negi found that the rate list was not posted at the right place, along with this, the billing machine was also not being used, nor was the bill being given to the customers.

The SDM found in its investigation that the entry of the stock register was not done in March 2023.

Other such deficiencies were also found due to which SDM Shailendra Singh Negi has sent his report to the District Magistrate Dehradun for imposing penalty while invoicing this shop.

During the SDM’s surprise inspection, he met Doiwala Kotwali Sub Inspector Sahil Vashisht, Head Constable Ramesh Shah, Salesman Mahesh Thapa, Sagar Kumar, Mausam Mittal and Ankit Singh were present.
